McCain and Manoogian: Holier than thou spankings

There was an interesting article about Senator McCain in the New York Times yesterday, who acts like he is high and mighty, holier than thou, above reproach - but we all know he isn't... he's a dirty politician. Ara Manoogian acts the same way, but we have emails and blogs proving he's a liar, doesn't own up to his own promises, and that he's a spanker.

So, I hope that Alex (Ara's son) has been behaving himself, or else Ara might spank him the same way he spanked his brothers and sisters in law. Yes, he spanked two of his wifes siblings, and you don't have to take my word for it, he blogged about it!

Now I'm not a judgmental guy, so who am I to care, but I thought I'd highlight this rather unique behavior - because Ara is a big proponent of the publics right to know absolutely everything. What about me you ask? I think there's a lot the public doesn't care to know, including this, and our own personal issues (or rather his issues with me), which I continue to say is better left offline than on... unfortunately, he seems to disagree, so here I am.

Happy New Year to the Big and Little Bullies!

Well the year is over, and we can't let the calendar roll over without wishing the honoree of this website a happy new year! He managed to reproduce as well this year, so there is a little bully in the picture as well now. Has fatherhood made him any more mature? It seems not, as my longstanding offer to remove all posts related to each other off of our websites has not been accepted, and Ara continues to break his promise not to have such posts about me on his site. Perhaps one of his new years resolutions will be to restore his self-respect, and remove slander and libel from his website - in that case you'll be in luck - not being subjected to this childishness any longer.

How's LA treating you these days, Ara? Are you going to come out of the closet and admit you live in LA yet? Or will you blog for years as if you live in Martuni still? Maybe I'll bump into you here in LA, and get a picture of you in your old hood, or in court for your fans...

Happy New Year to Ara, Angela - the girl he raised and married, and their brand new son, Alex!

P.S. Thanks for all the details on the childbirth... any blogs forthcoming on the conception??

All quiet on the home front...

Ara must be back in LA, or else he's found some new children in Karabakh he's decided to raise. Time will tell. But due to the end of a storm of blogs he posted from Karabakh during his trip here - no doubt in order to prove to the world he actually lives there, not in LA, I am surmising he's back in LA and for the past month simply reposting lame news articles. Again, Ara, no need to be embarrassed that you're in LA - tell us about your life there with your young young bride. How's she adjusting? What's the good word? Any other young children catch your eye lately as prospective brides?

For years you've harassed me online you "Big Monkey", and I kept asking you to stop in private. You refused. I hope you're enjoying reaping what you sowed.

Try as you might...

I see Ara is trying very very hard to ignore me, but that he's beginning to understand what it's like for another blog to just take personal stabs at him. Get used to it daddy-o, as long as you insist on breaking your word.

Why do I say he's trying to ignore this blog unsuccessfully? His recent entry called the same old thing was clearly a response to my pointing out he no longer lives in Armenia - or Karabakh. He lives in LA. He had been ignoring that fact on his blog, but my calling him on it seems to have gotten him to respond about "why he doesn't write about his life in Armenia anymore". Of course he doesn't mention that it's because he doesn't live in Armenia anymore, but rather writes that it's because things are the "same old". Um, right. Now that's an outright lie. Your little update from your trip here is not the same as living here, so all I can say is... liar, liar, pants on fire :-)

TRAFFICKING A NEW WAY OF HUMAN SLAVERY

I was reading the article with the above title in Ara's blog. It includes a section saying "Moreover, according to unofficial data, the number of trafficking victims surpasses several hundreds. Thus, 63 people of 120 were exploitated in Armenia, 57 in foreign countries, 30 in the Arabian Emirates, 27 in Turkey. 39 people underwent administrative punishment for prostitution."

Ara put in bold the part saying "RA Justice Minister David Haroutiunian still denies that trafficking is a growing problem for Armenia".

This sounds like a job for... THE BIG BULLY! Ara, since you live in LA and spent a few years in Martuni, perhaps you can even find young girls from Martuni right around you that have been trafficked to LA? What do you think? You can video them and put the story on YouTube. Perhaps it can lead to some prosecutions and the children of Karabakh which you care deeply about will sleep safer at night...

Breakfast with Ara?

I'm heading to Artbridge for breakfast. Now, now, don't get too excited, there is no plan to have breakfast with Ara, but he is in town, and Yerevan is a small place, so maybe I'll see the Big Bully there. What will I be doing there? I'm having breakfast with the USAID Mission Director. If you do see me Ara, don't say hello. Not unless you plan on removing some of the libelous statements you've made about me. The other Mission Director I worked for greets me with a hug, as does the Program Officer, and that just leaves my direct supervisor, who, well, we just couldn't get along any better. So, if you know anything about the USAID hierarchy, you'd know there is nobody left who could possibly have anything to say about my employment there. If you know anything about the contracting there, you'd also know that even if these guys didn't all love me, my contract would have automatically renewed itself if I had not asked otherwise.

So am I boasting about my relations with these people? Nope. Not at all, in fact, again, I find all of this distasteful, but we are dealing with a libelous jackass here who has written lies about me, including saying that he heard that I got let go from my job there. Pointing out he is wrong of course does not make any difference to him, and I researched legal redress in both the United States (since the fool lives there now) and in Armenia last spring (instead of making stupid empty threats), and both lawyers told me there is no point in pursuing this as things stand. So my only redress left is to show the world that normal people who I worked with for years like me a great deal, while he lives in a fantasy world, has never held a normal job so far as I can tell, is an asshole who eyes young girls a bit more closely than I find healthy, and that if anyone is high on certain substances, it sure as hell isn't me!

Oops, I almost neglected to mentioned that I'm currently working on a USAID project that I was at much of last year as well...

The second coming of Ara

It's true, he's returning to Armenia and Karabakh, folks! He'll be in Haygazyan village on either the 23rd or 24th, so you can go there and worship the Big Bully in person. He may be giving tips to people on how to recognize the qualities of a great future spouse in children - but you may have to raise them yourself like he did. Not everyone has that kind of time on their hands, I understand. If you're interested in going to the village with him, just email him at: haygazyan@snff.org This may be a rare opportunity to see him here, since he (as any true Ara Manoogian fan will know) now lives in Los Angeles.

He'll be in the village to see the power turned on that day. He's certain it will be on because the Governor of Kashatagh said it would be, and the Governor is a man of his word. I'm not sure what Ara would know about that, since he admits to not caring what promises he has made.

He wrote on November 8, 2005 that he agreed that:

In the future we do not refer to each other specifically on our sites, or allude to them in such a manner that it is obvious who we mean - especially not in a personal and insulting way.
Ara refused to publish my comment showing this text, after he had broken his word. Instead of my comment - which he hypocritically censored - he wrote a long-winded justification for breaking his word, which of course made no sense:
If my being transparent is a breach of the agreement, then consider the agreement breached. I will not allow anyone to sensor what I write on MY site, especially those who have clearly demonstrated in the past that they have little respect for freedom of speech and writing about reality. Trying to bullying me around with the use of a “peace treaty” that I didn’t need in the first place and according to my interpretation didn’t breach, is like giving a monkey a gun (as Borat would say), it’s very dangerous! Without the “peace agreement” my life will not change in any way, so if one feels that the agreement is breached, so be it. Case closed.
He has since continued to refuse to abide by the treaty, continued to refuse to delete all references to each other, and continued to act as if breaking his word was a noble act, which the people demand. He also insists he does not need professional help for his mental health. But, I wouldn't say "case closed" on that verdict just yet!
